With the national attention being focused on our gatherings, it is necessary to post the rules and guidelines to make crystal clear who we are and what we expect of you.

RULE 1: No Violence

We will act in a peaceful, lawful manner, period. PERIOD! We are not anarchists. We are concerned citizens using the freedoms secured by our nations founders and declared in the Bill of Rights to petition our government. Any who advocate, in general, any act of violence or other active civil disobedience will be told (not asked--TOLD!) to leave our reserved area. Any who advocate, in specific, any act of violence will be reported to the San Antonio Police or to the US Secret Service, as appropriate. Our Founders gave us the Bill of Rights and we will use them. Talk of "battles" must be reserved to the context of "Battle of the Flowers" and "political battles." Your alternative is to form your own protest, separate from ours. We have no problem with those who want to organize their own protest or other event. Good luck, and may God Bless.

RULE 2: Be Polite

We will engage with others, whether they're police or bystanders – even the opposition! – in a cheerful, respectful manner, period. PERIOD! We will not use profanity in our speeches, on our signs, or to any members of the opposition who might be present. While we will raise our voices with spirit when appropriate, we will deport ourselves in general with decorum that is respectful of the seriousness of the occasion.

RULE 3: Be a Good Citizen

We will be courteous and helpful to our fellow citizens. Should we see someone in need, whether they need a place to sit, medical attention, or just a friendly smile, we will ensure their needs are met in the best tradition of the American spirit. That goes doubly for a member of our opposition whom we see in trouble. When we are done, we will all help ensure our Tea Party location is clean and ready for whomever should use it next.

RULE 4: Respect the Sacred Grounds

During any Tea Party events at the Alamo or other sacred place, we will respect the Sacred Grounds. We will neither protest nor display signs of any sort onto Sacred Grounds.
