A Call for Unity

PUBLIC NOTICE: I WILL PUBLICLY DENOUNCE (both here and elsewhere) ANYONE WHO FAILS TO ACT IN THE BEST INTEREST OF SATP AND OF AMERICA FROM THIS POINT ON.

(Don't even think of making a scene that embarrasses SATP and the Tea Party movement at a protest or at a Magic Time Machine meeting!)

Noting that I speak only for myself and that this has not been prompted by anyone else: Can you all please be magnanimous enough to drop the relatively petty crap? I'm not talking here about those who genuinely feel they have been wronged in a major way such that a lawsuitis darn-near required, I'm mostly talking about the petty sniping and name calling.

I **ask** you all: Please publicly congratulate Tea Party Support and urge attendance and support for the conference. What is best for our country? That Tea Party Support *AND* the San Antonio Tea Party prosper.

I **ask** that all of you who are set to fight each other with lawsuits consider a settlements (where it's possible) in the interest in the good of the country. Have you all actually said or written nasty things about each other? Probably. Is it worth damaging the Tea Party movement for those you have wronged to pursue retribution? Maybe not? What apologies would it take to settle? Are you big enough to suck it up for America and apologize, or to accept apologies? LORD, HOW I HOPE SO! People -- I threw **myself** under the bus for the good of the Tea Party. Please, consider carefully: Can we not drop the lawsuits and demand letters and **settle** this all? I offer whatever services I can give as an intermediary to help make that happen!

Will you apologize to those you despise for the things you've said in anger and haste (like describing Matt in very bad terms to me on the phone, as one of you did) that upon more sober reflection might not have been the best thing to do, and MOVE ON with a public face of unity for the good of the organizations and of the country?

We should be fighting Karl Marx, people, not each other. Figure out a way to suck it up--all of you!--and get a unified face we can present to the people of San Antonio, to the people of America, and to that lovely lady from Alaska who will soon be here!
