This is no longer The San Antonio Tea Party's home (it was once, and then it wasn't, and then once again it was, and now once again it's not). The San Antonio
Tea Party now lives at http://www.sanantonioteaparty.us/ This is now just the blog of little old me. Robin Juhl, proprietor

The San Antonio Tea Party plans to hold General Meetings on the 3rd Sunday of the month. The next General Meeting should be on Sunday, 15 August.
They are usually from 3-5 p.m. The last one was at the Scottish Rite Cathedral, 308 Avenue E, San Antonio, 78205. (That's just NE of the Alamo! Parking was available at 1st Presbyterian Church).
Join the San Antonio Tea Party and other patriots at a rally on Saturday, July 31, 2010 from 10:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m., on the South steps of the capitol
in Austin. The theme: BACK TO BASICS...RESTORING THE DECLARATION OF INDEPENDENCE AND THE CONSTITUTION!
Jon Kaplan sent out an "After Action" analysis from the Sunday meeting to selected folks
I have not permission to post the whole thing, but there is a comment I'd like to publicy address:
Robin's opening remarks possibly created an impression that SATP members have been equally culpable with Tea Party Support
or Matt Perdue in threats of lawsuit.
I did not intend to give that impression. Threats of lawsuits are
major items. Calling someone "deranged" in an email or a phone call are another. I'm calling for us not doing
the latter. Do I have a problem with, say a certain lady suing a certain man for public defamation? Not a bit. Am I angry
at Matt? You better believe it! But we should should put our country first. As mad as I am -- it is my belief that Matt
purposefully tried to destroy SATP, but that cannot be proven, it's just my opinion -- I believe that what Tea Party Support
is doing is so important that I have to support their efforts anyway.
[UPDATE: Matt
demurs on trying to destroy SATP by sending me a description of the really nasty things that could be done but that he has
not done. Nasty stuff! Not done. Point taken.]
We also have to try to get past the petty stuff and
stop doing more petty stuff. For instance, someone once mis-characterized comments I made at a "protest leader"
after action meeting, where I was being quizzed as to why a certain man would resign rather than work with me. Another lady
became a topic and I had to explain why I believed the SATP had to officially mete out a formal punishment, preferable very
small and symbolic. I spoke of how I respected that she was willing to face up to the infraction and had told me she'd
accept whatever punishment the board decided upon. Someone then told her that I had attacked her and she was very, very hurt
and angry at me. Please, in future cases, remember what Napoleon said: "Never ascribe to malice, that which can be
explained by incompetence."
Let me put this another way when it comes to Tea Party Support, it's like
what many did for the last election: We held our noses and voted for McCain. Hold your nose if you must, but I think we
have to work with Tea Party Support. What's more important -- your grudge or your country?
Some folks have decided they just HAVE to call up Palin's people and
say nasty things about Tea Party Support. Folks, all you're doing is making SATP look like a bunch of whiny idiots.
Then there's the matter of "tortious interference" - as Matt puts it, "interference with business transactions
between two parties that can result in a claim for damages." You think Matt can't sobpoena phone records once Palin's
people get tired of it and note the caller ID number? If you get or have already received a "cease and desist"
letter, then you'd best cease and desist. Better yet, cease now, and skip the letter part, eh?
Liberals think
with their emotions -- you all should be using your heads!
Tea Party Support is NOT an enemy! Karl Marx is the enemy!
Debra Medina will be at the Magic Time Machine on Friday
A number of folks in SATP are really excited: Debra Medina will be at the Magic Time Machine on Friday. Who's
she? Should you support her? Why not meet her and find out?
Type: Meetings - Informational Meeting Network: Global Date: Friday, December 18,
2009 Time: 6:00pm - 8:00pm Location: Magic Time Machine
I am so excited! Our very own Freedom
Fighter running for Governor, Debra Medina will be joining us here in San Antonio to give a brief speech, but more importantly
to answer questions and to gain input from you about what issues are of most importance here in Texas.
Whether
you are a supporter or not yet one, I believe it would be beneficial to come and ask her your questions.
From her website
( www.medinafortexas.com ):
"The U.S. Constitution not only protects citizens' freedoms in the Bill of Rights,
it also divides power between the federal and state governments and ultimately reserves final authority for the people themselves.
Texas must stop the over reaching federal government and nullify federal mandates in agriculture, energy, education, healthcare,
industry, and any other areas D.C. is not granted authority by the Constitution."
Debra has just recently been
endorsed by US Border Watch. A press release should be making its way out later this week.
I hope you can join us and
please invite and pass this on to ALL your friends!
My thanks to Nadia Gaona for reminding me about this.
Intrigued by the curious shape of the average of the homogenized Darwin records, I then went to see how they
had homogenized each of the individual station records. What made up that strange average shown in Fig. 7? I started at zero
with the earliest record. Here is Station Zero at Darwin, showing the raw and the homogenized versions.
. . .
Those, dear friends, are the clumsy fingerprints of someone messing with
the data Egyptian style ... they are indisputable evidence that the "homogenized" data has been changed to fit someone's
preconceptions about whether the earth is warming.
Catch that? Those blue dots are the actual readings,
which show cooling. The red dots marching up to heaven are the "adjusted" reading that were then fed to the
media and used to "prove" global warming. The black line is a measure of how much they had to lie to make
their scheme work. Go read the whole thing . . . it should make your blood BOIL!
I know a gentleman who is going to DC on Tuesday next for the express purpose of joining
Senator De Mint in protesting O'care. He would love to deliver a pile of letters from SATP supporters. Could you post
a request to write letters and bring them to the MTM on Sunday to turn over to him?
What? You
don't know about the meeting? Didn't you get Julia Hayden's email?

Beat The Chip that is devoted to beating down the federal government's intrusive "Real ID" initiatives. She has an
update on how the Feds are trying to sneak it in that you should be aware of:
8 States set to choke Real
ID deadline game of "chicken"
BTC Exclusive
Today States feel federal
pressures to conform and pay for 18 national ID benchmarks. The "D.O.A." legislation requiring these standards-
Real ID - is headed for a repeal. Some States, smarter than others, have rebuffed compliance requests until DHS solidifies
a plan. In these straits, PASS ID (S.1261) is being presented as a reasonable alternative for the harsh regulations slapped
on States in January of 2008.
PASS ID may
have evaded the label of "unfunded mandate", but the fiscal breakdown is the same. States will still pay to construct
identity data surveillance hubs to insecurely network government records across the nation. PASS ID knocked off some attributes
which originally drove States mad to push out Real ID - massive unfunded mandatory projects to be footed by States. This time
States can opt-in and test the programs first. Try it, before you buy it. There is nothing in the newer legislation, S.1261,
to stop expenses of digital project scope creep from expanding incrementally for years to come once States are on the hook.
Unfortunately, scope creep is a problem currently plaguing existing Real ID digital network management, increasing expenses.
PASS ID has been drowzily accepted by some of its former
critics due to the special "national recession discount". One theory on the loss leader acceptance is ignorance
about requirements for States to comply with national identity standards. States today do not yet have a full recognition
of what Real ID will cost or what is fully required from them to build a national identity data aggregate or infrastructure.
Local governments remain hesitant because DHS is still settling matters of how to both afford and competently network the
IT behemoth. The plan to "kick the can", started underneath the Bush administration, has eroded DHS credibility
to enforce a national ID deadline. States know DHS issued comprehensive blanket waivers on Real ID compliance measures.
This week 8 states "choked" the compliance game of chicken, some issuing letters defying Real ID regulations going into 2010. That
is exactly what was done by States to address the last DHS deadline, March 31st, 2008. Based on previous results, DHS is expected
to issue blanket waivers to all 50 States to continue Real ID development.
DHS expects much to occur towards a successful vote on PASS ID between now and December 31st, 2009.
If the S.1261 bill passes, it wouldn't necessarily nullify Real ID deadlines, it would simply absorb them. The majority
of Real ID practices and standards would then move forward as the PASS Act. Senator Joe Lieberman did his best to get a unanimous
YES vote on S.1261 this week. PASS ID opponents are hawkish about DHS Senate members attempts to import the language in an
upcoming omnibus appropriations bill.
Pro-national
identity advocates favoring Real ID are fighting PASS ID. Their motives may differ from immigration and privacy advocates,
but the attack remains the same. PASS ID may suffer a significant minority block for purely political reasons.
Meanwhile, there are little to no reports of widespread
identity adversity without the full battery of Real ID regulated ID cards across the United States.
Nonetheless,
citizens are urged to continue to speak up now about a national ID card system in America. Please don't allow the rebranding
of Real ID as PASS ID to give you more of what you've dreaded all along: identity surveillance. :::TAKE ACTION HERE:::

We were looking to have some artwork done on our son's wall. Marna Roch recommended a friend by the name of Don Allie. His site is Alliecat Studios (yes, he knows some of the links there don't work.)
WOW! The samples on his web site do not do justice
to him. The pictures he sent with his proposal were AWESOME! He had us send a picture of the wall we wanted him
to paint, and he sent back NINE different samples of what it could look like.
I Was NOT a Fan of Carly Fiorina until I saw this video (via Hot Air). She talks about Obama Care as a recent survivor
of breast cancer. As Hot Air's Allahpundit put it:
No one expects much from these weekly talking-points
communiques, least of all from Fiorina after last year's campaign gaffes, but this one's superbly delivered and almost
shockingly effective. A nice catch from Bill Dupray: At no point does she mention her Senate bid or even the words Republican,
Democrat, or Obama. I wonder if that was the GOP's idea, to make it feel more intimate and less overtly political, or
whether Fiorina herself demanded it. Rarely will you see a candidate given a national spotlight decline the opportunity to
mention her candidacy, but like I say, this ain't the usual message fare.
The video is
six minutes and twenty six seconds long. WELL worth your time!
Get Thee hence and watch it, then pass the link on to every woman you know plus every man you know who cares for the women in his life.
24 hours ago we put out the word we needed 13 volunteers to
be “Legislative Captains,” (one for each of the 13 state legislators we have here in Utah county). The Legislative
Captains would work in their respective legislative districts to recruit delegates for the convention. We sent about 50 very
targeted invites to people based on their address. We gathered the names from our Tea Party sign up sheets. 20 people showed
up. So, with the extra people, we asked what expertise everyone had. We then divided up duties on Facebook, events, marketing,
and a new website, www.utah912teaparty.com. On the whiteboard “POP” stands for Precinct Operation Program. Just
say NO to RINOS.
THAT is EXACTLY (!!) the kind of thinking we need -- strategic
and focused on the upcoming elections.
First, what is the name that goes with 'RKJ'? Second, light
is the best disinfectant and I so want a vibrant, rational, focused Tea Party to succeed that if you guys can get through
these growing pains, it will live to fight another day. Be of good cheer, the ideas behind what you are doing are worth the
effort.
RKJ stands for "Robin K. Juhl." That's me! Thanks for the kind thoughts,
Tony. I'm sure there are many more like you. We WILL get through this!
The second letter comes from
Mike:
I am totally frustrated, not only from the idiot in Washington but the SA Tea Party condition. You see
I have been involved with the REPUBLIC OF TEXAS and I watched it go under 3 times now. Because of the same and other reasons
the Tea Party is going under. I am very unhappy as I thought this was a DIFFERENT ORGANIZATION where it was not run by people
that want power and to build egos. when you ran the Tea Party we didn't have this. All of a sudden you were gone and Matt
was in. I don't know how this happened but it did. I didn't know about a board.A lot of damage has happened and I
believe we can rebuild if we do it QUICK HAVE A MEETING AT THE TIME MACHINE BEFORE CHRISTMAS tell the patriots what is going
on and lets move on. Get Al Adesk or some other speaker to speak about how to rebuild us and LETS MOVE ON. I wanted to get
on the board until I say they or the Tea Party wants my SS and drivers license number which I will not give out so. Lets
move on now the longer we dont have meetings people will leave permanently, we have got to get them back NOW Time is running
out.
Thanks for the very kind words. Please know that I am NOT A FAN of the Republic of Texas movement. I hold
a commission as an officer of the United States. My loyalty is to the US Constitution. That being said, you are right that
many organizations have had this problem. I believe that the current defacto leader, Jon Kaplan -- who leads now in practice,
if not in title -- has no personal power agenda.
What prevents a "quick meeting" to resolve all this?
SATP is a formally organized non-profit, with RULES. The current board agreed to the process Jon Kaplan & co. are now
working through. Given the accusations, threats of lawsuits (from multiple parties) and the hard feelings all around, the
only thing that will bring them all back together is to make sure the others all resign, too, and that a completely new board
is put in place. >br />As for SSAN & Driver's license numbers, I believe they're doing background checks.
You're not the first to balk. Your choice.
